Opta to sponsor and speak at Digital Sport's Manchester event

Opta will be speaking at and sponsoring Digital Sport's Manchester event 'The Evolution of Sport on Social' on Tuesday the 24th April. The event will be held at the office of social media agency Social Chain and will focus on how to engage with next generation fans on social media.

Perform's VP Marketing, Simon Farrant, who oversees and has worked on the Opta brand for several years, will feature on a panel at the event discussing the role of sports data in the creation of engaging content and the secrets behind the success of the OptaJoe Twitter account.
