Opta and ICC sign exclusive 4-year partnership

Opta has today (24th March 2016) become the official data collection and distribution partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in an exclusive 4-year deal. 

Opta will provide data for all ICC events from 2016, starting with the ongoing ICC World Twenty20 (March 08 – 03 April) in India. Other events covered will include the ICC Men’s, Women’s and U19 Cricket World Cup and Cricket World Cup qualifiers, the Champions Trophy and the Women’s World Twenty20.

As the official tournament scorers, Opta will provide data for all of ICC’s official digital platforms and other official partners.

Opta data is relied on by the most prominent brands in sport, including the world's leading sports broadcasters, digital media outlets, governing bodies, clubs, brands and sponsors.
