Tui beer partners with Opta to promote ‘Catch-a-million’ campaign at 2015 Cricket World Cup

Tui Beer were looking for ways to create authentic content to promote engagement in their ‘Catch-a-million’ campaign during the ICC 2015 Cricket World Cup. By working with Opta, Tui were able to create a series of attention-grabbing graphics that could be shared across all of their social and commercial platforms.

 In total 20 graphics were created illustrating where sixes were most hit by key players in the tournament. These helped inject greater insights into Tui’s social media posts and were given their own dedicated home on the brand’s web and mobile site. 

 Not only did this promote consumer engagement in the campaign it but also generated national press coverage including a double-page spread in the New Zealand Herald. This demonstrates one of the ways we at Opta can help our clients find new and compelling uses of our data in order to educate and captivate sports audiences.
