Investec partner with Opta to maximise their sponsorship of England Cricket

Opta data is used to create the first Test Tracker app

Investec were looking to accelerate their sponsorship activation of the English Cricket Team by supplying innovative and engaging content to fans. By working with Opta the brand were able to design and implement their Test Tracker App.

Through using Opta’s detailed data feeds alongside editorial content on their website and app, Investec were able to create a bespoke algorithm which was designed to give an overview of which team had had the better of the last 10 overs. This insightful use of Opta data helped to engage fans with the brand and raise their profile as one of England Cricket’s key sponsors.
