Rugby League In-Ground Analyst (North West – Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside) – Part Time

Job Title: Rugby League In-Ground Analyst

Department: Rugby Operations

Location: St Helens, Warrington and Wigan

Hours: Weekends (Afternoons and Evenings)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysts are expected to arrive at the designated venue at least one hour prior to kick-off to allow for the collection of media accreditation.
  • Report to the home club’s media manager and collect official team sheets for the game ready for entry.
  • Locate your seat and connect to the Internet as soon as possible, confirming your arrival to our office in Leeds and enter the teams as named.
  • Collect accurate live match data from fixtures in the Super League and Challenge Cup.
  • Collect footage from our video suppliers post-game and upload to us as soon as possible.
  • In certain circumstances, footage may need to be couriered to our office in Leeds.


  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
  • Display IT skills and an aptitude to learn to use new software packages.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and concentrate for long periods.
  • Analysts are expected to be available for the vast majority of shifts on Friday nights and Weekends throughout the season.
  • A good knowledge and understanding of domestic Rugby League.
  • An understanding of the importance of collecting accurate live data and the diligence required when covering such events.
  • Analysts are expected to commit to the required training procedures.
