Opta has been a part of Perform Group since 2013, operating under Perform Content. The business has grown to work with over 800 clients and major rights-holders worldwide, including providing official data for the Premier League and partnering with LaLiga to create their Official Data Centre. Opta’s data and solutions are also used by leading broadcasters, media brands, betting companies, governing bodies, professional teams and more.

Perform works closely with leading bookmakers, traders and syndicates (Bet365, Unibet, Tipico, HKJC) around the world, providing a range of services which facilitates in-play betting and engagement with sports fans globally. Through Perform’s leading data brands, RunningBall and Opta, we supply bookmakers with sports data that our customers and their audiences trust. Opta data is used to drive better pricing, create new innovate betting markets and fantasy concepts and deliver more entertaining betting experiences. Our sports data operations are underpinned and independently supported by the Perform Integrity Unit, which works with leading industry partners to protect the integrity of sport.


Perform also has shaped long-term partnerships with women’s tennis and international basketball to form WTA Media and FIBA Media. Both entities, operated by Perform Group, aim to improve production quality, increase broadcast reach and expand international distribution to engage global fans of their respective sports. This experience and expertise benefits Opta’s new and existing partnerships with professional bodies and rights holders.

Opta is also integrated into Perform’s OTT sport streaming platform, DAZN, currently live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Japan and Canada. DAZN is revolutionizing the way fans watch sport, live and on-demand, by making their favourite sports more accessible and more affordable. Opta data editorial teams support DAZN production teams by translating existing and creating new content, whilst Opta specialists also work with DAZN production and graphics provider RCS to create preview, in-game, halftime and fulltime data graphics packages.
