Opta has teamed up with StratBridge LLC to develop the next generation of football analysis software.
Based in Harvard, Boston, StratBridge have successfully delivered sophisticated analysis of players to over 20 NBA and NFL teams during the last 5 years. Their unique online interface can be defined by clients to create a completely bespoke yet objective player profile based on Opta data. This can done for any player across all of the leagues Opta collect.
The partnership ensures that football clubs have access to the largest data set combined with the most advanced analytical tools all developed in the latest technologies available.
Data Scout Detail
Data: Opta football data represents the most comprehensive, detailed data across the major European leagues with up to five seasons of data in: the English Premier League, Spanish Liga BBVA, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga & Bundesliga 2, Russian Premier League plus the Champions League.
Opta collect every ball event that occurs during every match in all of these leagues, 1500+ events per match, creating an unparallel breadth of player performance statistics.
StratBridge Software: Delivers sophisticated player analysis tools allowing users to explore, compare and present Opta player data via charting and multivariate searches. Possibility to define and review customised statistics. Extensive team analysis and dynamic report builders provide a complete analysis solution.
StratBridge Scouting: allows an organization to have up to eight different qualitative report templates (e.g. by League). Each template can have up to eight different report types (e.g. Scouting, Background, Injury). The organization can track over 20,000 pieces of information for an unlimited number of players, agents, opponents, and other items.
