Overview
The Query Tool allows users to directly explore the breadth and depth of Opta’s database via ranking players and teams or creating customisable spreadsheet outputs.
The interface allows users to access data from across the following competitions:
English Premier League
- Spanish La Liga
- Italian Serie A and Serie B
- Selected European domestic cups
- All major internationals - World Cup, African Nations, Euro Championships
Users can select any of the above competitions followed by specific teams, players or positions and create a multivariate ranking table of players or teams. This ranking can be based on over 120 different performance variables and created across multiple or single seasons.
The intuitive interface can easily create a spreadsheet output of player or team data; this can be a single player or team or groups of either. Allows users to filter data on variables such as player age, position, opposition, venue, starting role and dates to create an output of specific data that fits these criteria.
