Raw data feeds of Opta’s timecoded statistical data are available for clubs to use for their own purposes whether it be research, recruitment or media / PR.
Opta Integration
With so many technologies and products now available to clubs it can be confusing to find the correct blend of products to give you a complete solution. Opta have therefore made their raw XML feeds compatible with other market leading providers. This ensures that combined with Opta Video and Data Scout clubs can have a consistent data provider across all elements of match analysis.
Scout7-Xeatre
Several clubs across Europe who are existing Scout7-Xeatre customers have now taken advantage of the integration with Opta data feeds. The Xeatre video solution can allow online users to view videos of every match from leagues across Europe and around the world. This is a portal to a huge video resource, however without having timestamp data to search and edit the video it requires a large human resource to utilise.
The data feed allows Scout7-Xeatre users to search their video using all of Opta’s 1500+match events making it simple to instantly view all of one players ball touches in a game or all goals across a season. This data feed is available for use with Xeatre on any of the competitions that Opta collect across Europe.
SportsCode
As the established leader in self coding software across the world, SportsCode’s software is used for analysis at all levels of sport. In professional football it is the preferred solution for live in-game analysis and is used extensively by clubs for their own subjective post match and scouting analysis.
Having the ability to import Opta’s match events allows a SportsCode user to concentrate their coding on only their subjective analysis with all of the objective events covered by our data. For example users can import the Opta timestamps for all shots, corners, freekicks, passes and crosses thus saving the user valuable time. It also gives users the benefit of customising the software around our extensive data set and viewing it through your own templates.
